Projects / Ideas made tangible

Projects & interests.

A collection of API experiments, data stories and playful code. Built to learn something — and make something useful.

01 / API integration

Where is the ISS?

Coordinates are only the beginning.

This project combines a space-station position, geographic context, weather and country information into one queryable Python dictionary — the same pattern used in the original Flask template.

  • Python
  • Flask origin
  • Multiple APIs
  • Current position and source timestamp
  • Forecast below the station and country details
  • Python distance calculation and dictionary output

02 / Data visualization

The Big Mac,
in perspective.

A familiar product. A different way to compare.

The original project uses pandas and pygal to compare burger prices. The working edition recalculates historical dollar prices and US-relative price ratios in Python, then draws accessible charts.

  • Python
  • Historical data
  • Charts
  • India, Switzerland, Britain and the USA
  • Three observations across 2021–2022
  • Country filters, a data table and CSV export

Illustrative phone combining astronaut, character and weather information into a message

03 / Automation

Three APIs.
One little story.

Fetch. Format. Compose.

Astronaut information, a fictional character and tomorrow’s forecast become one message. The preview uses live API ingredients and Python formatting. SMS delivery is a separate, protected owner action.

  • Python
  • API orchestration
  • Twilio
  • Choose a forecast city
  • Generate and copy a real message preview
  • One send per preview when delivery is configured

04 / Python game

The Horror Dungeon.

Five rooms. Your choices.

My original terminal adventure, adapted for the browser. Meet a mystic and a turtle, solve a quiz, face a dragon and a zombie, and find your way out. The game logic runs in Python.

  • Python
  • Game state
  • Browser runtime
  • Characters, inventory and room progress
  • Real Python running on your device
  • Readable engine and original source downloads

05 / JavaScript browser demo

Guess the secret number.

One number, seven guesses. A small browser experiment from the supplied portfolio.
